More than 10 days after a wall of ice, rock, and mud swept through a Himalayan valley in Nepal, rescue teams are still pulling survivors from the debris.
Chandika Shrestha, a 64-year-old woman, was found alive on the fourth floor of her partially buried house in Nuwakot district by Nepal’s Armed Police Force on September 5, according to Reuters.
She was airlifted to a hospital in Kathmandu for treatment, Reuters reported.
