Today’s NYT Connections rates as a 1/5 on the difficulty scale, indicating it is among the easiest puzzles. Although simple, it contains a few subtle red herrings, notably FLUSH, PAIR, POKER, and STRAIGHT, which could mislead solvers. FUSE might appear related to JOIN, but the categories differ.
