Welcome to the NYT Connections community. This article provides additional hints and the complete solutions for today’s puzzle, covering the Yellow, Blue, Green and Purple groups.

Sunday has arrived, marking the rapid approach of the weekend’s end. Nonetheless, the day remains long and, hopefully, relaxing, offering opportunities to enjoy puzzle games even as rain falls outside.

Let’s group the words.

If you’re looking for Saturday’s Connections guide, the solution can be found here.

How To Play Connections

Connections is the second‑most popular puzzle in the NYT Games suite after the crossword. It is a free and engaging daily brain‑teaser that anyone can enjoy. You can access it directly through the NYT Games platform.

The puzzle has a single correct answer set and solvers are limited to a few attempts, preventing unlimited guessing. Difficulty is indicated by color—typically ranging from yellow to blue/green to purple—where higher colors denote more challenge. Familiarizing yourself with this progression can aid the solving process.

Select the four words you believe are related; a correct selection will illuminate the connection and reveal the category. If you are close, the game will indicate you are one step away. You have four incorrect attempts before losing. For a hint‑free experience, visit this guide or reset your browser cookies. Additional puzzles are available through an NYT Games subscription, which provides access to the complete archive.
