A reunion between the New York Knicks and Jordan Clarkson remains on the table.
Although owner James Dolan has implemented a mandate to keep the team’s finances below the second apron, sources informed The Post that re-signing Clarkson remains a viable option.
The 34-year-old Clarkson is set to become an unrestricted free agent this Tuesday. His recent tenure with the Knicks was marked by a championship victory, though his role within the rotation fluctuated throughout the season.
After being removed from the rotation midseason, Clarkson impressed the organization with his professional approach, eventually reclaiming a spot as a key reserve. Notably, his defensive improvements helped secure his playing time, a significant evolution for a player traditionally recognized primarily for his high-volume scoring and perimeter shooting.
