Recovery is essential for athletes striving for peak performance, and Nike and Hyperice have introduced a new footwear solution that combines temperature and vibration therapy into a slip‑on slide.
The Nike Air Zoom Hyperslide, unveiled Monday, is the latest collaboration between Nike’s footwear expertise and Hyperice’s recovery technology. The slide features an adjustable strap that houses a magnetic Hyperslide Pod, which can deliver three levels of heat and three levels of vibration in 15‑minute cycles. Athletes can tailor these settings through on‑pod controls or via the Hyperice app.
The slide’s full‑length Air Zoom sole provides soft, responsive comfort while the embedded heating and vibration components target muscle recovery.
“The integration of Hyperice heat and vibration with Nike’s cushioning is what sets this product apart,” said Virgil van Dijk, who tested the slide with the group/releases. “The therapy helps my feet recover quickly, and the comfort is exceptional.”
Building on the success of the Nike × Hyperice Hyperboot—which surpassed $10 million in revenue during the first eight months after its debut at the 2024 Paris Summer Games—this new slide is designed to be worn anytime, whether before or after competition, training, or daily routines.
“Our partnership with Nike is founded on a shared commitment to innovation for athletes,” said Hyperice founder Anthony Katz. “The Air Zoom Hyperslide brings premium recovery right to the athlete’s feet, combining Nike’s iconic design with Hyperice technology for smarter, step‑by‑step recovery.”
The Air Zoom Hyperslide will be available in select markets beginning September 29.
The release showcases how performance can continue beyond the court or track, underscoring the growing importance of recovery in athletic routines.
