The menswear brand Noah continues its exploration of vintage rock aesthetics with a new collaboration featuring graphic apparel inspired by the legendary Australian New Wave band, INXS. The collection highlights several of the group’s most enduring hits, including “Don’t Change,” “What You Need,” and “Never Tear Us Apart.”
This latest release follows a series of successful musical tributes from Noah, which has previously collaborated with artists such as Thin Lizzy, The Cure, and Roxy Music. The INXS drop includes two white short-sleeve tees, one white long-sleeve tee, and one black short-sleeve option. The black tee, featuring designs inspired by “Never Tear Us Apart,” has already seen significant demand with many sizes selling out quickly.
Each piece is printed in the United States. Long-sleeve shirts are priced at $88, while short-sleeve options retail for $68. Reflecting on the inspiration for the collection, Noah founder Brendon Babenzien shared a personal connection to the band’s music. “I was probably around 11 when I first heard INXS. The year would have been 1982,” Babenzien noted. “My brother had some friends who, in my eyes, were the coolest people I had ever met. They had a halfpipe and a launch ramp that I was occasionally allowed to skate. INXS was the soundtrack to those sessions.”
Since its founding in 2015, Noah has consistently integrated musical culture into its brand identity. “Music is the backdrop to everything we do,” Babenzien explained in a previous interview. “To me, all forms of artistic expression conjure emotion. A film uses visuals and sound to reach you, but with a song, you have the sound and the lyrics—it is perhaps the most direct expression of emotion.”
While INXS released their final studio album in 2010, the band remains a powerhouse of the 1980s era, particularly following the massive success of albums like Listen Like Thieves and the multi-platinum Kick, which featured global hits like “Need You Tonight” and “Devil Inside.”
