Noel Gallagher has hinted that Oasis could be back on the road next summer.
During an appearance on talkSPORT’s Drive, Gallagher further fueled speculation about a 2027 Oasis tour. When host Andy Goldstein questioned the rumors, Gallagher initially dismissed them with a joke: “It’s Liam, isn’t it? He’s not into it. He’s not into Oasis anymore.”
Goldstein pointed out that Gallagher’s brother and bandmate had recently stepped away from social media. “Well, then there must be something happening,” Gallagher replied. “Well, let’s put it this way: there’s no football tournament on next year, so we’ve got to do something in the summer, right?”
“Well… there’s not a football tournament next summer.”
“So we’ve got to do something, right?”

While Oasis have not officially confirmed a return to the road, numerous reports suggest the band is planning another major tour, possibly including a comeback to the iconic Knebworth venue. In 1996, Oasis drew 250,000 fans over two nights at the site, and speculation has grown that they may seek to recapture that historic moment.
Last month, Liam addressed rumors that Oasis would headline Glastonbury in 2027, dismissing them bluntly on social media: “It’s not happening, so all you croc‑wearing, flag‑waving… can calm the fuck down.”
Oasis spent much of 2025 on the road for their highly anticipated reunion tour. Throughout the run, the brothers hinted at plans to return. In September, as the band concluded their London shows, Gallagher offered a series of thanks, culminating in gratitude to the fans: “Most of all, I wanna thank you lot for keeping the faith and putting this band back on the map,” he said, before adding moments later: “See you next year!”
Oasis is set to release a new documentary, titled “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” in IMAX theaters on September 11, before streaming on Hulu and Disney+ later this year. The film, created by Steven Knight of “Peaky Blinders” fame, is directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace.
“The Oasis world tour united generations, cultures, and countries and spoke to a broken world about reconciliation,” Knight said in a statement. “Don’t Look Back in Anger is not only your ticket to the show – it’s a backstage pass and a seat at the table when Liam and Noel sit down together for the first time in 15 years and tell it how it is and how it was.”
