Oba Femi has immersed himself in his next chapter, stepping into the ring against Bron Breakker. The matchup pits two of WWE’s brightest young stars against one another, a contest destined to signal who will carry the company’s future. The rivalry was formally initiated on Monday Night Raw in Buffalo, where Breakker issued the challenge. Paul Heyman subsequently confirmed the pairing, booking the contest for Sunday Night’s Main Event in Atlanta on September 6. The card now boasts two marquee attractions, with Cody Rhodes also facing Randy Orton at the same venue. Trick Williams is slated to appear on the card, featured alongside his on-screen ally Lil Yachty on promotional material.

Sunday Night’s Main Event traditionally airs on Saturdays, but this year marks a historic shift to Sunday of Labor Day weekend. In the United States, the broadcast streams exclusively on Peacock, while international audiences can tune in via WWE’s YouTube channel.

The event carries a distinct Atlanta flavor. WWE’s official listings place both Breakker and Rhodes in their hometown market, adding a layer of local significance to the proceedings. Femi and Breakker first collided on screen following SummerSlam, a encounter that Femi has spent months building toward, leveraging the main-event heat generated since his breakthrough run earlier this spring.
