Ospreay and Copeland Team Up to Face Fletcher and Knight on AEW Dynamite

AEW has confirmed two matches for this week’s Dynamite.

On Wednesday in Coral Gables, Will Ospreay and Adam Copeland will join forces to face Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight. Additionally, Ilja Dragunov is set to make his official AEW in-ring debut against Speedball Mike Bailey.

Adam Copeland battled through much of Saturday’s Clockwork Carnage match and nearly forced a draw in the final seconds, but a concealed blade from Will Ospreay shifted the momentum, allowing Ospreay to secure the final pinfall and win. Following the bout backstage, Ospreay told Copeland that it meant a great deal to have him in the match and expressed interest in facing him before Copeland’s retirement next year.

The card also features a TBS Championship number-one contender’s match, pitting Queen Aminata against the returning Maya World. The victor will earn a future opportunity at Persephone’s TBS Championship.

Ilja Dragunov was introduced to the AEW audience at WrestleDream and later addressed the media. Tony Khan subsequently confirmed that Dragunov will make his in-ring debut on Wednesday.
