The Packers entered halftime with a 20‑10 lead over the Panthers, despite two turnovers and a missed extra‑point attempt.
Green Bay dominated the opening 30 minutes, out‑gaining Carolina 227 yards to 87. Quarterback Jordan Love finished 18 of 24 for 189 yards and two touchdowns, connecting on a 12‑yard pass to tight end Tucker Kraft and a 24‑yard strike to wide receiver Matthew Golden. Running back Josh Jacobs added a 1‑yard touchdown run.
Wide receiver Christian Watson compiled six catches for 100 yards but was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation of a chest injury sustained on a 53‑yard reception. Panthers cornerback Will Lee also was injured on the same play, suffering a hamstring strain and requiring a cart to the X‑ray room.
Special‑teams woes plagued the Packers as kicker Trey Smack missed his first PAT (his eighth miss of the season), and the offense lost two fumbles.
Carolina’s only early scoring came after Packers wide receiver Coleman Owen fumbled the opening kickoff, which was recovered by linebacker Nick Hampton. The Panthers managed only eight yards before kicker Ryan Fitzgerald delivered a 39‑yard field goal to take a 3‑0 lead.
The Panthers failed to capitalize on two turnovers. Watson’s 8‑yard reception fumble, forced by safety Nick Scott and recovered by Bobby Okereke, was one of those missed chances.
Packers linebacker Ty’Ron Hopper intercepted Panthers quarterback Bryce Young, who completed 10 of 19 passes for 65 yards and avoided most of the Packers’ pass rush.
Carolina’s Chuba Hubbard contributed 11 carries for 37 yards and a touchdown, plus five receptions for 21 yards.
