Summary Pakistan’s stock market began the week positively, with the KSE-100 Index climbing more than 400 points before later slipping into negative territory.

Trading at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) remained volatile, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index initially rising more than 400 points before turning negative.

At the start of the week’s first trading session, the market showed a positive trend as the KSE-100 Index advanced over 400 points, reaching 175,409.

Nevertheless, the benchmark index subsequently fell into negative territory.

The KSE-100 Index had closed at 174,929 points in the prior trading session, marking a gain of 153 points.
