OSAKA — Panasonic Holdings Corp. announced Monday it aims to nearly quadruple revenue from artificial intelligence infrastructure to 2 trillion yen ($12.5 billion) by fiscal 2030, introducing new products and expanding production of data center batteries as the Japanese conglomerate positions itself for the AI-driven energy transition.
The company’s data center battery storage systems are designed to optimize power distribution and manage energy demand across entire facilities, supporting the high-density computing requirements of AI operations. This strategic push reflects Panasonic’s broader move to leverage its battery expertise beyond automotive applications and into the rapidly growing data center market.
