The final round of the 2026 Butterfield Bermuda Championship has been suspended due to high winds, with the PGA Tour announcing that players will not compete on Sunday.
With one round remaining, play was originally scheduled to begin early Sunday morning with threesomes departing from split tees starting at 6:45 a.m. ET, despite forecasts predicting steady rain showers and strong winds.
As the start time approached on Sunday, tee times were initially delayed by one hour to a 7:45 a.m. ET start, with the leaders in the final group set to depart at 9:46 a.m. ET. However, shortly after that adjustment, the Tour decided to cancel the day’s play due to worsening conditions and dangerously high winds.
BUTTERFIELD BERMUDA CHAMPIONSHIP UPDATE: With no improvement to the current weather conditions and anticipated further deterioration, there will be no play today.
More information regarding play on Monday will be provided no later than 5:00 PM local time today. https://t.co/pRUH8DY0Ze

Heading into the final round in Bermuda, two experienced players share the lead at 16 under par: Seamus Power, the 2022 tournament champion, and Austin Smotherman, who recently earned his first career PGA Tour victory earlier this month at the Bank of Utah Championship.
Close behind are numerous competitors eager to capitalize on a strong finish or win during this crucial stretch of the FedEx Cup Fall season. Fourteen players remain within four shots of the lead, including seasoned Tour professionals such as Corey Connors and Chris Kirk.
