Warwickshire have reinforced their squad ahead of the 2026 season by adding Indian batter Pratika Rawal. The 25-year-old will be available for selection starting with their One Day Cup match against Yorkshire at Edgbaston on August 19.
Rawal has emerged as a key talent in international cricket, with 1,189 runs in 26 List A matches at an average of 47.56. Her 2025 Women’s World Cup performance, where she became the second-highest run-scorer, highlighted her reliability, though an ankle injury cut her short of the knockout stages.
She debuted in Tests against Australia, scoring a crucial 50 in the second innings. Following recovery from an injury sustained during India A’s July 1 match against England A, Rawal is now fit to contribute to Warwickshire’s campaign.
“This is a fantastic signing for the team, and we’re very pleased to welcome Pratika to Edgbaston. We’re in a good position in the One Day Cup table as it stands, so bringing in a player of Pratika’s calibre can only strengthen our line-up as we look to finish the season on a positive note,” said Warwickshire head coach Ali Maiden as quoted by Cricbuzz.

It’s going to be a great experience for me to test myself playing in England.
