A guest at the Republican midterm convention in Dallas on Thursday evening was heard shouting a message calling for violence against Democratic Senate candidates.
Sen. Ted Cruz, speaking at the time, did not respond to the outburst, and a spokesperson for the senator confirmed that no statement had been issued regarding whether he had noticed the incident.
