On Saturday morning, dozens of masked individuals in all‑black attire converged on the Port of Dover, a situation police identified as a “protest.”

He wrote that “Dover’s park run has been cancelled, port access is disrupted, and residents’ lives are made harder,” highlighting the broader impact of the disturbance.
“I am exhausted by individuals showing up to provoke chaos in Dover; my own word against these ‘protesters,’ who would not even comprehend that small‑boat crossings have dropped by roughly 40 % regarding migrant crossings,” Tapp declared.
Personnel from Kent Police are present on site, “engaging with protesters,” the force reported.
