Deonna Purrazzo is eager to see Britt Baker return to AEW television, hoping the two can finally secure the bout they have long awaited. Baker made her comeback after a two-year absence at AEW All In, appearing to assist her new associate Persephone in capturing the TBS Championship from Maya World.
Purrazzo expressed her excitement over Baker’s return when responding to a fan on Twitter. Purrazzo had previously invited fans to share their dream Pure Rules matches. When a fan posted a GIF of Baker, Purrazzo responded:
“We’ve wanted this for SO long”
Purrazzo currently holds the ROH Women’s Pure Championship, having held the title for 275 days. Her most recent defense came against Steph De Lander at ROH Death Before Dishonor on August 21st.
There has been no official announcement regarding a potential match between Baker and Purrazzo.
