LONDON, Aug 18 (Reuters) — British artificial intelligence company Quantexa is exploring a multibillion-dollar stock market listing, potentially in Britain or the United States, its chief executive has revealed.
“We can list in the UK or the U.S., or both,” said Vishal Marria, Chief Executive Officer of Quantexa. He added that the company has not yet finalized a timeline for an initial public offering and could opt to remain privately held.
A potential U.S. listing would represent another significant blow to London’s stock market, which has recently seen several prominent companies choose American exchanges. Marria noted that the United States offers a deeper pool of capital and the potential for higher valuations compared to the UK.
Marria stated that Quantexa has been “IPO-ready” since January but declined to provide specific details regarding the timing of any potential offering.
Founded in 2016, Quantexa develops AI software that assists organizations—including financial institutions, healthcare providers, and government agencies—in organizing and analyzing vast volumes of data. The technology is widely applied in areas such as fraud detection and financial crime prevention.
