Barry, host of the popular podcast Saving Grace, has confirmed she will present a series of shows across the year beginning in September, expressing enthusiasm for sharing her favorite tracks and engaging with notable guests while maintaining her signature blend of humor and candid storytelling.
Taking over from O’Leary, Marlowe will co-host alongside Vicky Hawkesworth during the 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM BST slot from Friday to Sunday. The content creator, known for narrating BBC Three’s I Kissed A Girl, previously filled in on the Early Breakfast show last summer.
Marlowe expressed excitement about joining Radio 1, aiming to deliver engaging content that focuses on auditory experience rather than visual appeal.
Danny Mylo and Rosie Madison will assume the Early Breakfast role vacated by McCullough, who described his exit as a “hard decision” after six fulfilling years at the station. McCullough, a Northern Irish presenter who featured on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! in 2024, thanked loyal listeners but emphasized a desire for new challenges.
