Rafael Devers’ go-ahead RBI single echoed through Oracle Park in the bottom of the 10th inning, as the San Francisco Giants edged the Los Angeles Angels 7-6 in a dramatic interleague showdown. The Giants slugger, who had already cracked a homer earlier in the contest, drove a liner off the left-field fence after Bryce Eldridge drew a full-count walk to load the bases with one out. Despite the ball caroming toward the warning track where automatic runner Jesus Rodriguez had stationed himself, the play was scored as a single—allowing Rodriguez to trot home the winning run.
