Record Store Day Unveils Black Friday 2026 Exclusive Slate

The semiannual Record Store Day event will once again deliver a slate of exclusive releases to independent record stores this Black Friday.

Taking place on Nov. 27, the RSD Black Friday lineup features a wide range of rarities, new colorways, and classic LPs returning to vinyl.

Among the highlights are a pair of previously unheard live recordings, including Skid Row’s Live At The Moscow Music Peace Festival and a previously unreleased live disc bundled with Frank Black’s 30th anniversary Teenager Of The Year reissue. Ween fans will be eager for Shinola, Vol. 2, a 2xLP gathering of “previously unreleased outtakes, fan favorites and rare B-sides spanning the length of the band’s recording career,” pressed on “just brown” vinyl. King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard continue their Bootlegger series with Expand Your Mind: Songs In 3D, a set of live recordings from Bulgaria touted as “the first-ever 3D Zoetrope record, complete with 3D glasses.”

Additional releases include TV Girl’s full catalog compiled on a single CD titled Four Classic Albums, J.I.D’s NPR Tiny Desk concert audio, and Daryl “DMC” McDaniels’ America EP, a collaboration with rock artists including Sebastian Bach of Skid Row, Mick Mars of Mötley Crüe, Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses, and Travis Barker of Blink-182. Live albums are also lined up from Prince, Joni Mitchell, Bruce Springsteen, Jeff Tweedy, Marianne Faithfull, Funkadelic, Billy Joel, Brigitte Calls Me Baby, the Old ’97s, and jazz luminaries Stan Getz, Charlie Parker, and Bill Evans.

Notably, there will be no 20th anniversary edition of Clipse’s Hell Hath No Fury, despite the album turning 20 that weekend. Special releases are also planned for Noah Kahan, KATSEYE, Masayoshi Takanaka, and many others. The full list is available on the Record Store Day website.
