Reform UK has stated that it is filing a police report against Green Party leader Zack Polanski after the politician reposted an Instagram image that included a photograph of a man wearing a T‑shirt bearing the words “Nigel” and an accompanying illustration of a guillotine.
Polanski, who has 713,000 followers, had accepted an invitation to collaborate with another account and subsequently shared a series of photos from a Green Party event held on Sunday.
One of the images displayed a man in clothing stating, “We’re only making plans for Nigel.”
A spokesperson for the Green Party explained that once the graphic was brought to Polanski’s attention, he immediately removed the post and clarified that he does not endorse or support the message.
Nigel Farage, leader of the Reform UK party, publicly criticised Polanski on X, sharing a screenshot of the reposted content.
Farage stated, “If I were to post anything that could be deemed incitement, I would expect to be arrested, and the same should apply to Polanski.”
Reform UK’s home affairs spokesperson, Zia Yusuf, confirmed that the party is reporting the incident to law enforcement, describing the content as “incitement to murder.”
