Agha’s omission from the initial side follows his earlier exclusion from the Lord’s match, which ran from 27 to 31 August 2026. That encounter ended in a 194‑run loss for Pakistan, while England secured an unbeaten 2‑0 lead in the series with an emphatic victory at the Home of Cricket.
