Appearing on *The Late Run*, Mysterio drew a parallel between the legendary football icons and the ongoing discussion regarding the greatness of Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.
“I would have to say Seth Rollins is one of them because he’s a masterpiece at what he does,” Mysterio remarked when asked to identify the Messi and Ronaldo of WWE. “He is truly ‘The Architect.’ On the other end, I would probably have to give it to Roman. He mastered this craft incredibly fast.”
Mysterio continued, “You can talk about legacy and the dynasty of where he came from. I am focusing on current talent, though we could certainly discuss legends like The Rock. I truly believe that since those two were once teammates and eventually went their separate ways, they have both successfully ascended to the top of the mountain.”
