Ric Flair took to X on Friday to address fans questioning his continued survival after a recent fall in Tampa, asking, “And you are worried about me falling down and hitting my eye?”
In a message to supporters concerned about his health, Flair highlighted his extensive wrestling career, noting more than 5,000 matches — including 2,400 one‑hour draws and five 90‑minute bouts — and a demanding schedule that featured a round‑trip flight to Japan, a 24‑hour turnaround, and three additional one‑hour draws. He also described surviving an airplane crash that left him in the ICU for 31 days and on life support for 14 days, followed by a 35‑day rehabilitation period.

Flair was taken to a hospital after falling outside a Tampa restaurant on October 23. His daughter, Charlotte Flair, assured the public that same evening that he would be okay.
On Wednesday, Flair announced that he still requires one additional surgery and may need a skin graft before he can return, expressing gratitude to the USF Health Eye Institute for their care.
We wish Ric Flair a full recovery.
