2027 Tour Dates Revealed Alongside New Single ‘Bird’
<p>The Philadelphia psych‑folk duo Victoria Rose and Stone Filipczak are releasing another single from their upcoming album <em>Autosmile</em> and announcing a headlining tour. The single, “Bird,” is accompanied by a surreal video directed by Caity Arthur that explores themes of beauty and sadness, mirroring the song’s mood. Listen below.</p>
<p>Filipczak explained that “Bird” was inspired by dead baby birds that kept appearing on his deck and was written during a bike ride through Druid Hill Park in Baltimore. The lyrics contain wordplay intended to balance the song’s underlying melancholy.</p>
<p><em>Autosmile</em> will be released on October 16 through 4AD. The duo has already unveiled three tracks from the successor to 2023’s <em>Mind Palace Music</em>: the seven‑minute title track, “Punish My Mind,” and the new single. They will perform the new material when they open for YHWH Nailgun and This Is Lorelei this fall, then launch their own headlining tour early next year. The tour dates are listed below.</p>

<p>The tour kicks off on September 18 in Philadelphia, PA at Making Time and continues with shows across North America and Europe, concluding on February 26 in Los Angeles at Zebulon.</p>
<p>Additional dates run into early January across the United States and Canada, featuring stops in Philadelphia, Somerville, Montreal, Toronto, Chicago, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, New York, Seattle, Vancouver, Portland, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.</p>
