Russian missile strike on Kyiv weapons depot kills dozens, triggers mass evacuation

Nearly 400 people have been evacuated after a Russian strike on a warehouse near Kyiv killed at least 37 people, Ukrainian authorities said.

Videos capturing the massive explosion and the ensuing smoke have circulated online.

The strike targeted a weapons depot supporting Ukraine’s military located close to a residential district.

President Volodymyr Zelensky announced an investigation into the “terrible negligence” of storing explosives adjacent to residential areas.
