Sasha Keable took the stage on Saturday Night Live UK on October 10, delivering two songs, among them her new single “Options”.
The South London singer‑songwriter served as the musical guest on the fourth episode of the show’s second series, hosted by Danny Dyer.
She opened with “Options”, a soulful R&B track released earlier this month, and later returned to perform “Why”, which debuted in 2024 and later appeared on her acclaimed 2025 EP Act Right.

“Options” was released on October 1, accompanied by a music video filmed in Colombia, where Keable has family roots. The song examines the complexities of intimacy after a breakup and was co‑written with Eddie Lopes.
Speaking about its creation, Keable said: “When I walked into the studio Eddie had already been working on the melody. I started singing back to him the first thing that came into my head: ‘breakup sex’ – and that became the lyric. I realized that’s exactly what we were talking about.”
The track followed the February release of ACT II, an expanded version of her 2025 EP Act Right that adds five new songs.
In a five‑star review of the original EP, NME praised Keable for blending classic soul with modern R&B, calling the record a “stunning reintroduction to the world”.
She was also named to NME’s list of 100 essential emerging artists for 2026 and earned a Best R&B Act nomination at this year’s BRIT Awards.
Her rising profile has led to tours with GIVĒON, supporting Olivia Dean in Dublin, and appearances at the Roots Picnic festivals in London and Philadelphia.
Later this month Keable will join the lineup for a 20th‑anniversary celebration of Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black at London’s Roundhouse on October 21.
The event will feature Mark Ronson, Salaam Remi and the Amy Winehouse Band performing the album in full, with guest vocalists Jorja Smith, FLO, Corinne Bailey Rae and Lianne La Havas.
Meanwhile, Saturday Night Live UK returns next Saturday (October 17) with James Norton as host and The Streets as the musical act; Cynthia Erivo and Blossoms are slated for October 24 before the series goes on hiatus until early 2027.
