Transfer analyst Ben Jacobs disclosed via X that discussions have formally begun between Al-Hilal and Arsenal regarding Martinelli’s potential transfer to Saudi Arabia. Jacobs further outlined that Al-Hilal’s renewed pursuit coincides with Arsenal’s strategic push to offload Martinelli, who has been identified as surplus to the North London side’s needs under manager Mikel Arteta.
