ISLAMABAD: Lahore will host a three‑day Saudi–Pakistan Real Estate Exhibition this week, according to the Saudi–Pakistan Business Council (SPBC), with the event set to spotlight property investment prospects in the Kingdom.
The exhibition follows ongoing initiatives to deepen economic ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, where real estate and property development are emerging as promising avenues for cross‑border investment.
Scheduled for Oct. 21‑23 at Lake City in Lahore, the fair will gather stakeholders from both nations to explore investment options and bolster bilateral cooperation in the sector.
“Explore a broad selection of residential and investment properties, uncover promising opportunities in Saudi Arabia’s expanding real‑estate market, and connect directly with leading Saudi developers,” the SPBC urged in a statement.
As part of its Vision 2030 strategy to diversify the economy away from oil, Saudi Arabia has launched extensive infrastructure projects covering health, education, recreation, tourism and real estate.
The Lahore exhibition is expected to serve as a platform for investors, developers and industry representatives to identify business opportunities, present projects and discuss collaborative pathways between the two countries.
A Pakistani property‑technology startup that recently incorporated in Saudi Arabia and is preparing to hire locally said this month that it is joining a growing cohort of foreign tech firms seeking to capitalize on the Kingdom’s drive to digitize its vast real‑estate sector.
Karachi‑based Fortify, founded in 2021, provides enterprise‑resource‑planning software for real‑estate companies, integrating sales, customer‑relationship management, finance and property management on a single platform.
“Saudi Arabia ranks among the largest GCC markets, and with Vision 2030 we see substantial potential for digital transformation in the Kingdom’s real‑estate industry,” said Syed Zain Ali, Fortify’s CEO and co‑founder, in an interview with Arab News.
“We plan to begin our expansion in Riyadh, the capital, and then move outward,” he added.
