Sawyer and Shaw Launch Shocking TNA Run With Surprise iMPACT Debut

Former WWE wrestlers Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw made a surprise appearance during Thursday’s live TNA iMPACT from San Antonio, Texas.

Sawyer, formerly known as Dexter Lewis, and Shaw, formerly known as Joe Gacy, were unmasked as the attackers who have disrupted TNA over recent weeks. Both men previously served as members of the Wyatt Sicks during their WWE tenure.

The reveal followed Matt and Jeff Hardy’s demand that the mystery attackers finally appear. Matt announced that the chaos had ended, while Jeff said his usual laid-back attitude had given way to frustration.

After the Hardys called out their unseen opponents, the arena screen began glitching as chainsaw noises and ominous music filled the building. The lights flickered before two figures dressed in black entered the ring and attacked Matt and Jeff.

The assault intensified as the lights continued flashing. Once they returned, the attackers stood over the Hardy brothers and removed their masks, exposing Sawyer and Shaw.

TNA commentary reacted to the shocking reveal by declaring, “They’re here…” before the broadcast moved to a commercial break.

Sawyer and Shaw previously teamed as the Wyatt Sicks in WWE before departing the company.
