Senegal has announced its support for Macky Sall’s candidacy for the position of Secretary-General of the United Nations. The declaration was made through a press release on Monday, following a meeting between Sall and President Bassirou Diomaye Faye three days prior. The news was reported by FRANCE 24 correspondent Aminatou Diallo in Dakar.
