BEIRUT: Overnight Israeli airstrikes in the southern Lebanese city of Tyre resulted in seven fatalities, according to a Lebanese civil defense source speaking to AFP on Friday, breaking the ceasefire in the ongoing Israel-Hezbollah conflict.
Airstrikes near the Jabal Amel hospital killed four individuals, injured seven others, and caused minor structural damage to the medical facility. Separate attacks in other parts of Tyre claimed three additional lives and wounded five people, among them two children.
