Seven Indian Players Return to ODI Squad for West Indies Series After England Omission
Ruturaj Gaikwad – Gaikwad makes his comeback to India’s ODI setup after an absence since the home series against South Africa last year. The Maharashtra opener is a technically sound top‑order batsman with a strong domestic and franchise record. With Shubman Gill, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli occupying the top three spots, Gaikwad could slot in at number four, the position left vacant by Shreyas Iyer. Auqib Nabi – The Jammu & Kashmir all‑rounder receives his maiden ODI call‑up after impressing in domestic cricket. Nabi was previously in India’s Test squad for the Sri Lanka tour but did not debut.
