Lady Shani and Robert Stone took to social media to comment on Wren Sinclair’s unexpected victory that earned her a contender spot for the NXT Women’s Title on WWE NXT. It was noted that Sinclair, disguised as Shani, entered the battle royal during the previous night’s show, bypassing her suspension to secure a title match against Kelani Jordan at NXT Halloween Havoc.
Shani posted on her Instagram account, inviting Sinclair to face her in AAA. She said:
“Very clever, Wren Sinclair. Any time you want to come down to AAA in Mexico and find out who the real Lady Shani is, the invitation is open.”
Meanwhile, Stone responded to an angry tweet from Jordan about how Sinclair shouldn’t have been in the match. He wrote:
“I agree. I do apologize for this Kelani. This is a situation I need to figure out. Stay tuned.”
Currently, Sinclair is slated to challenge Jordan for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Halloween Havoc on October 31. The event will be broadcast live on The CW, ESPN Unlimited, and streamed internationally via Netflix.
