Eddie Guerrero’s legacy endures as a major influence on today’s wrestling generation, with Mercedes Mone among those who have credited his impact on their career. His daughter, Sherilyn Guerrero, is now training to follow in his footsteps and establish herself as a professional wrestler.
During a recent appearance on the ‘MuscleManMalcolm’ podcast, Sherilyn was asked about the possibility of stepping into the ring with Mone someday. Given their shared connection to Eddie Guerrero, such a matchup could carry special significance as she continues her journey toward becoming a wrestler.

On wanting to face Mercedes Mone: “Yeah, I’ve met her when my mom and Shaul, my older sister, they both were working with her. I would love to get in the ring with her. I feel like she has so much knowledge and wisdom over all her years. I also feel she’s a great chain wrestler that could, like, teach me some cool reversals or just give me a real good fight in the ring. The fact that she does love my dad — it would just like be so much more passion with our fight.”
On Liv Morgan’s Oblivion finisher: “The three amigos for sure. I am in love with it. I feel like it’s like me solely and I got to shout out the pops. He created a bada** move. Yeah, Three Amigos for sure. Then my next one that I want to learn is Liv Morgan’s Oblivion. I love her Oblivion. It’s so good.”
On who she wants to face: “I don’t know if there really is the right person when you are comparing the legacy and like the best of the best. But, you know, I am scouting. I would love to get in the ring with Mia Friday or maybe Mystii Marks. They kind of went at it today where I was like, ‘Okay.’ But also, I mean, this is going to be a tedious process. We’re going to have to bring all the heat and not everyone can do that.”
On when fans will see her in the ring: “That’s above my pay grade. Hopefully soon. Training is going so good. I’m in love with it. Just know it’s going to happen. I’m letting everyone wait.”
