Snayx have released their latest single, ‘Nice Day 4 It,’ a track the band describes as a summer anthem steeped in melancholy.
This release signals a transformative era for the Brighton-based alternative punk trio and marks their debut project under the Nettwerk Music Group label.
Featuring a euphoric, festival-ready chorus, ‘Nice Day 4 It’ sees the band blend their signature abrasive riffs with a more melodic sensibility, exploring themes of burnout and the surrender to chaos.
“It’s a summer song, but lost in its own melancholy, in its own weird way,” the band explained. “It’s about that headspace where self-destruction stops feeling like a problem and starts feeling more like just another day.”

The band continued: “Feelings get filed away for a future version of yourself to deal with. Your mate texts. You go again. When the spiral begins to spin so rapidly out of control, you eventually end up in motion and before you know it, you’re actually rolling.”
“There’s something almost freeing in the dissonance. Like once you stop trying to hold it together, the pressure’s off.
“It’s not quite nihilism, but there’s definitely a sense of: everyone’s a bit fucked, the world’s a bit fucked, so why not make a nice day of it?” they concluded.
This new material follows last year’s bass-heavy single ‘Strut,’ which critiqued nepotism, vanity, generational wealth, and social media addiction.
The lineup—comprising frontman Charlie Herridge, bassist Ollie Horner, and drummer Lainey Loops—is currently developing their highly anticipated debut album.
The trio was previously recognized in NME’s list of 100 essential emerging artists for 2025, earning praise for their ability to fuse heavy Brit-punk with blunt, impactful lyricism and for the significant buzz generated by their live performances.
NME also awarded their 2023 Manchester performance a five-star rating, describing them as a vital band capable of shaping the future of UK punk.
Upcoming performances include Beautiful Days Festival in Exeter on August 23 and Lindisfarne Festival in Northumberland on September 3. They will also join Yonaka on a UK and Ireland tour, starting in Belfast on September 29, with additional dates in Dublin, Manchester, Cardiff, Nottingham, Leeds, and Glasgow. Snayx also have headline shows scheduled at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town on October 3 and Brighton’s Concorde 2 on October 6.
