The cold open featured a sketch depicting newly appointed Prime Minister Andy Burnham meeting Liam and Noel Gallagher of Oasis. The duo invites Burnham to join their band, only for the interaction to be revealed as a Russian internet phishing scam. “Oasis is, and has always been, Russia psyop,” Noel, disguised as Nolakov Galagski, reveals. “All our songs made in lab by Kremlin scientist,” Liam, portrayed as Liamovich Galagov, adds.
