Sony unveiled the Bluetooth FlexStrike wireless fight stick in July, and its availability and pricing have been confirmed: $200, with preorders beginning June 12 and a launch date set for August 6.
It will be released concurrently with Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, a new fighting game developed by Arc System Works, the studio known for Guilty Gear and BlazBlue.
Unlike many competing fight sticks, the FlexStrike is engineered for seamless integration with the PlayStation ecosystem, featuring DualSense‑style controls—touchpad, Share, Options, L3, and R3 buttons—to provide full functionality without relying on a generic button layout designed for cross‑platform use.
If desired, users may keep their DualSense wireless controller attached to a PS5 for menu navigation. The FlexStrike also supports connection to a Pulse Elite wireless headset through a PS Link USB adapter, delivering ultra‑low latency audio and voice chat, and enables direct linking with another FlexStrike for head‑to‑head competition.
Sony reports that the FlexStrike achieves input latency as low as 4 ms and offers up to 40 hours of battery life.
The design emphasizes ergonomic wrist and hand positioning and a slimmer profile than conventional fight sticks. It includes an internal compartment for storing the PS Link USB adapter and cables, and ships with a dedicated crossbody carrying case.
