Stephanie Vaquer’s first opponent since her WrestleMania 42 loss has been confirmed for the upcoming episode of Raw.
At WrestleMania 42, Vaquer’s Women’s World Championship reign ended when she was defeated by Royal Rumble victor Liv Morgan on the opening night.
Following the event, reports indicated Vaquer was dealing with an injury, which led to her removal from television after an attack by Judgment Day.
She returned to WWE television on the Raw episode after SummerSlam, teaming with Becky Lynch to target Liv Morgan’s Women’s World Championship.
Stephanie Vaquer to Face Roxanne Perez in Her Return Match
Since their return, Vaquer and Lynch have clashed while pursuing Morgan’s title, and Vaquer is now slated to compete next week.
To open the show, both Vaquer and Lynch were left incapacitated after a Judgment Day assault following Vaquer’s call‑out of Morgan.
Later in the program, it was announced that Vaquer will step back into the ring next week, facing Roxanne Perez of Judgment Day.
Becky Lynch vs. Stephanie Vaquer Poised to Be Raw’s Money Match
Since their SummerSlam‑after returns, Lynch and Vaquer have repeatedly intersected as both vie for the Women’s World Championship.
Morgan has defended the title once since winning it from Vaquer at WrestleMania 42, overcoming IYO SKY at SummerSlam.
While WWE appears intent on prolonging Morgan’s reign to fuel a fourth Judgment Day breakup storyline, observers believe the marquee bout the company should be building is Lynch versus Vaquer.
With WrestleMania 43 still eight months away, a showdown between the two at any upcoming event could become the year’s biggest women’s match.
Raw is scheduled to travel to Dublin, Ireland for its first ever episode next January, presenting a potential stage for Lynch to capture the Women’s World Title if the promotion proceeds with a Lynch‑Vaquer showdown at WrestleMania 43.
