The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) stated on Tuesday that a tanker came under fire from three projectiles while departing the Strait of Hormuz, according to Reuters.
The event occurred 17 nautical miles east of Khasab, Oman. Fortunately, no casualties or environmental damage were reported.
