Teddy Swims delivered a cover of Van Halen’s 1984 classic ‘Jump’ during his performance on the second night of Electric Castle 2026.
He placed the cover toward the finale of his Main Stage set, preceding his smash hit ‘Lose Control’ and the newly released single ‘Break Up In Reverse’.

Swims previously performed ‘Jump’ at Coachella in April, sharing the stage with Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth. He has publicly praised the band, calling them “the best fucking band of all time.”
Following Swims, Twenty One Pilots took the stage, delivering a crowd‑pleasing set that included their own reinterpretation of ‘Seven Nation Army’, accompanied by a video endorsement from Jack White.
According to NME’s review of day two, “From start to finish, Swims’ energy is palpable; by the time he dons his helmet adorned with a bright red mohawk and rides offstage on a tricycle, it feels like a job well done.”
Swims released his latest album, ‘I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 2)’, in 2025. It earned a four‑star rating from NME, which noted that the follow‑up deepens his narrative and avoids sequel fatigue.
Electric Castle 2026 runs from July 16‑20, showcasing an eclectic lineup that includes The Cure, Kneecap, Dogstar, and Chase & Status.
