[Tessa Blanchard Confronts Hardships Imposed by Online Wrestling Community]
Former TNA and current MLW wrestler Tessa Blanchard has shared her verdict on the internet wrestling community.
Recently speaking to TMZ Sports, Blanchard was asked about a pivotal moment in her career that she has successfully navigated. Responding to the inquiry, Blanchard discussed past controversies and how the online wrestling audience responded to her actions.
Blanchard admitted that navigating public commentary from strangers had been particularly taxing. “I’ve overcome relationship problems. I’ve overcome family difficulties. I’ve grappled with feelings of inadequacy. Many performers—whether in wrestling or elsewhere—have confronted such challenges.
“Going online and seeing unfiltered opinions from countless anonymous individuals was deeply challenging. Such remarks often shaped my self‑perception. Continuously absorbing negative feedback can lead one to doubt themselves. For Tessa Blanchard, preserving a clear sense of self—both as a wrestler and as a person—has been her greatest struggle,” Blanchard explained.
“In summary, maintaining a stable identity amid relentless criticism presents obstacles far outweighing any athletic achievement I may have earned.”
