Teyana Taylor joined the star‑studded lineup that Jay‑Z curated for his final residency night at Yankee Stadium, marking the end of a landmark performance series.

Teyana Taylor’s relentless work ethic remains unmistakable.

Following their shared stage on Sunday, Taylor reflected on her career and publicly thanked Jay‑Z a day later. She helped launch the “Extra Innings” finale by stepping into Mary J. Blige’s part on “Can’t Knock the Hustle,” the iconic track from the rapper’s 1996 debut album Reasonable Doubt.

In a heartfelt Instagram post accompanied by photos from the night, Taylor noted that while the sound had minor issues, her gratitude outshone any technical glitch. “Seeing a girl from Harlem stand beside the GOAT in front of over 40,000 fans at Yankee Stadium was a moment I never could have imagined,” she wrote. “If you had told me one recognise that I’d share this platform with JAY‑Z one day, I would never have believed it.” She added, “Father God has a beautiful way of reminding me just how far I’ve come.”

Taylor also thanked Jay‑Z for inviting her to such an iconic night, promising, “I’ll never take moments like this for granted, and I’ll carry this one with me forever.”

Jay‑Z’s anniversary shows at Yankee Stadium—celebrating Reasonable Doubt, The Blueprint and a special “Extra Innings” episode—witnessed a procession of A‑list stars across all three nights on July 10, 11, and 12, 2026. Beyoncé opened the first night with a rendition of “Can’t Knock the Hustle” alongside her husband, returned on night three to perform “Drunk in Love,” and other iconic artists such as Rihanna, Usher, Fat Joe, Jadakiss, Pharrell Williams, Clipse, Alicia Keys, Eminem, and Nas shared the stage with Jay‑Z.
