THAO Unveils New Album “Show Me,” Co‑Produced with Tune‑Yards

After a hiatus, Thai‑American singer-songwriter THAO has returned with a fresh project. Following her releases of “Ambition” (2022)Пар and “Fossils” (2023), she announced a new album titled Show Me, co‑produced in collaboration with Merrill Garbus and Nate Brenner of Tune‑Yards.

The announcement arrives alongside her latest single, “Sick Of The Times,” which features Tune‑Yards and the Linda Lindas. “I wanted it to be an anthem that could be used at political rallies, grassroots organizing, and mutual aid events—any setting that helps us emotionally prepare to activate and stay politically engaged at all levels, especially locally,” the artist explained. “We need to keep each other buoyant and remind ourselves that we have the numbers and the imperative.”

Other collaborators on Show Me include Neko Case and Adrian  sidebar Quesada of Black Pumas. “This album is a real‑time record of my life evolving into a new relationship with love and desire over the past few years,” THAO added. “For example, I came out publicly years ago but have never written a song about sex or queer identity, so that’s included.” She also announced several fall U.S. tour dates, with a portion of ticket sales supporting Working Families Power.

The album features a music video directed by Linda Mai Green, and the track list is as follows:
