U2 released their new track “Street Of Dreams” last week, following a May teaser filmed on the streets of Mexico City. On Friday, July 17, guitarist The Edge appeared onstage with Dutch DJ Martin Garrix at Belgium’s Tomorrowland festival to debut a fresh collaboration titled “Fireflies.”
The song, which is unrelated to Owl City’s hit of the same name, carries a U2 credit and is slated for release on July 24. Garrix previously teamed with Bono and The Edge on “We Are The People,” the official anthem for the 2021 UEFA European Football Championship. With Garrix hinting at a new album arriving later this year, the track may feature on that upcoming project. Watch footage from the live debut below.
