Three-time World’s Strongest Man champion Tom Stoltman has been added to the lineup of the BBC’s popular series Gladiators.
The 32‑year‑old, standing 6 ft 8 in (203 cm) tall and hailing from Invergordon in the Scottish Highlands, became the first Scot to capture the title when he won his first championship in 2021.
Production on the fourth series of the Saturday‑night primetime show is scheduled to begin in Sheffield next month, with episodes slated to air on BBC iPlayer and BBC One in 2027.
Stoltman’s Gladiator alias has not yet been revealed.
He successfully defended his World’s Strongest Man crown in 2022 and secured a third victory in 2024.
Most recently, in February 2025, he claimed his fourth Britain’s Strongest Man title, overcoming rivals Adam Bishop and Paddy Haynes.
However, a hand injury hampered his bid for the 2026 World’s Strongest Man competition, resulting in an early exit during the qualifying heats.
