TOKYO — Toyota Tsusho, Japan’s trading house, has started providing direct shipping of auto parts from Japan to Canada and Mexico. This enables smaller suppliers to access major automotive manufacturing centers without incurring double tariffs that would arise from routing shipments through the United States.
