Transcontinental Inc. (TCL_A.TO) announced its third-quarter financial results, revealing a decrease in net income compared to the same period last year.
The company’s net income for the quarter amounted to C$36.5 million, or C$0.44 per share, down from C$38.7 million, or C$0.46 per share, in the prior year’s third quarter.
On an adjusted basis, excluding specific items, Transcontinental Inc. reported earnings of C$27.1 million, or C$0.32 per share.
Despite the profit decline, revenue grew by 3.8% to C$306.0 million, up from C$294.9 million year-over-year.
