TRNSMT 2026 Teases Exclusive Secret Set Amid Expanded Line‑up

TRNSMT Festival has announced a “very special secret set” for 2026, while adding several new acts and publishing the full stage line‑ups for the event. The three‑day festival is slated to take place on Glasgow Green between Friday 19 June and Sunday 21 June.

The main stage will be anchored by headliners Richard Ashcroft, Kasabian and Lewis Capaldi. Other performers slated for the bill include Wolf Alice, CMAT, The Last Dinner Party, Sonny Fodera, English Teacher, Perrie, Loyle Carner, Big Special, NewDad, Jacob Alon and The Snuts.

Organisers have released detailed daily schedules for each stage, including the BBC Introducing Stage and The Hangout. A fresh wave of talent has also been announced: The K’s, Rianne Downey, Caity Baser, Girl Group, Glasgow‑based Tina Sandwich, Scottish indie band Vida, Irish girl group BIIRD and Scottish singer‑songwriter Blair Davie.

The festival has urged ticket holders to watch for an unexpected performance on the King Tut’s Stage. The mystery act is scheduled to appear on Friday night, immediately before The Beta Band’s closing set.

Fans are reminded that the festival’s programme accommodates Scotland’s World Cup appearance. The match against Morocco is slated for 11 pm BST on Friday 19 June, the same evening as Ashcroft’s headline slot. Attendees can remain on Glasgow Green to watch the game on what organisers describe as the country’s largest screens.

TRNSMT has moved its dates from the traditional July slot to June this year. This change allows the festival to adjust set times in the future to accommodate World Cup coverage.

During an interview with NME last month, Kasabian’s frontman Serge Pizzorno shared insights into their upcoming performance, highlighting a “relentless” set featuring reimagined tracks from their ninth album, ‘Act III’. He expressed excitement about delivering an “eras‑defining” performance that would satisfy fans and push the boundaries of live music.
