The BBC’s Shaimaa Khalil reports from aboard one of the airport’s distinctive ‘people movers’—mobile lounges that have transported passengers between the terminal and aircraft since the airport’s opening in 1962. Under the proposed plans, these aging vehicles would be replaced by an expanded train system and new concourse structures.
